I grew up outside of St. Louis and began formal dance training at an early age at our family dance studio, Performing Arts Centre. I played piano and guitar from elementary to high school, and continued studying music at Lindenwood University where I received a BA in instrumental performance with a minor in music composition in 2014. In 2013, I received the Conover Award for Most Outstanding Male Music Student. I studied under guitarist, Brian Vaccaro & composition mentor, Adam Donohue.
I still find myself involved with dance as I was Music Director for St. Louis tap ensemble, STL Rhythm Collaborative from 2017-2019. With director Maria Majors, I’ve produced shows and live tap jams at The Stage @ KDHX, Central Studios, & The Monocle. I arrange popular music for an acoustic guitar trio, Hitchcock & The Hitmen. Along with fellow songwriter Matthew Hitchcock, we have a Folk/Blues/Rag revival project called Side Car. With Comedian/Singer Amy Armstrong, I have written arrangements of popular music and jazz standards that were performed at the Catalina Jazz Club (CA), The Palm Cabaret (MX), The Front Porch (ME) & The Chase Club (MO).

I am a solo musician as well, providing 4+ hours of original music and arrangements of popular blues, jazz standards, 60’s/70’s folk, pop, 90’s & alternative, golden oldies, soul
and modern music. Original music spans genres from American classical, jazz, folk, and blues. I perform regularly around the St. Louis metropolitan area, Western Illinois & St. Louis County areas as a soloist, with Hitchcock & The Hitmen, & Side Car.
In addition to the musician’s life, I books acts and produce shows for Alpha Brewing Company located in Tower Grove South. Furthermore, I served as the music director from 2019 – 2022 at School of Rock Kirkwood where I managed the curriculum, performance programs & ran the house band, whom you can see perform around St. Louis!

After leaving School of Rock in 2022, I transitioned into the world of Information Technology for a doors company, Woodgrain Millwork, Inc. I am an administrator for their service desk and that is now my full-time job. I continue to teach part-time guitar lessons under Russo Music Works as well as perform as a solo musician around St. Louis & Illinois area. In April of 2023, Side Car released our debut album, Dinner & a Box of Wine. Although Matt & I are currently focusing on our family lives, you can still catch us performing as a duo around town. I am currently working on a solo album of original music & a collection of piano arrangements that will be released under my name.
